Is THERE A possibility of a continuous uninterrupted version of all your audiobooks?
but its been taking a while Nate Dogg (#6 crackhits if mumo doesn't pass me)... "life is hard. But its one helluva lot harder if you're stupid"- -John Wayne
For one, we have assembled a DVD some months ago which contains some fo Scott's books. Borken into several mp3 files (one per episode) but without the chatter - just pure storry.
On the other hand you can head over to podiobooks and download all Scott's books with a bit of commercials at the beginning (all for podiobooks as far i remember), strip the commercials by yourself and join the mp3s into one huge file. Here is what you will need:
I have experience with Windows (back to just before 3.1 fielded), I'm also a Unix sysadmin from a ways back (very rusty now though), and have Apples at home. Bottom line--I don't like to fight my computer to make it do what it ought to do. So, Apple is the computer of choice for the house. Never a problem.

Workplace for me has always been PCs and Unix boxes. I love the Unix and was happy to see Apple move to a Unix-based OS for Mac. Funny thing was though--I loved their OS even before they went that route. So for me, it was something great that just got even better. But that's under-the-hood poop. Practically, I like Macs because they just work. I never have to get into a fight with the machine and get frustrated because it's not doing what it's supposed to do. The focus is never on the machine--it stays on the things I'm using the machine to do. In Mumo's case, that would be surfing porn, or seeing if any fellow midget-sex offenders have chosen to live in the same community with him. (Always nice to have your colleagues near by.)

-as well as i do because tha damn machine is a pain in the ass and i have find out what went wrong and either fix it myself (usually trail and error) or get a tech guy. with mac, i do not know so well because it does not give me the problems pc's do. (GAWD, i wish education stayed the Apple course) (eith both machines, i have found that the universal reset, turn off then back on, fixes 90% or more of problems) http://www.pgholyfield.com/maah/
Those would be some big files, which increases the risk of problems during transmission. I think it is better to have them broken down into episodes...but it's just an opinion.
i started to do this for anscestor
