After having our own mini Manhattan pub crawl (2 bars) FDO, Husband and i headed back to the hotel room. we were crashing in Scott's room that first night to save money, and he was putting us up in our own room the second night (which turned out to be upgraded to a luxury suite...but that's another story) We watched some TV, then FDO informed us that it was time for sleeping. So, we got all snuggled down and lights out and all, and all was good, right? Well... almost. See, I've gotten so used to going to sleep listening to FDO's voice after all this time, i really cannot go to sleep without it. i prepared for that by making sure i'd charged my ipod before bed. but... what i had not remembered was to unplug the Ipod from where it was charging, which was across the room. the room was situatted in such a way taht the pull out couch where Scott was sleeping was directly perpendicular to the bed where Hubby and i were sleeping and that the couch, when unfolded almost touched the bed. so, in order to get to my ipod i would have to literally crawl over the sleeping FDO. Hmmm. i tried really hard to go to sleep without it, but between my habit being ingrained and the excitement of being in my favorite city with my two favorite people, that wasn't happening. i got really lucky, because after a few minutes, Scott shot up out of bed (he doesn;t get up- i have learned from sharing a hotel room with him more than once- he SHOOTS out of bed!)to lower the thermostat and go to the bathroom.i took this opportunity to shoot out of bed myself and grab my ipod. YAY! now i could go to sleep! but can you imagine listening to someone talk in your ear within minutes of jsut having conversed with them in real life? it was kinda weird. in the morning, i told the guys about what had happened, and they laughed with me. then Scott said i shoulda just asked him to tell me a story... :-D

Yea, you should have asked him to tell you a bed time story. I'm sure it would have been different than any you heard as a child. Hmmmm, maybe I'll ask him for a bedtime story when I see him on the Contagious tour!!!!!!!

all i can tell you right now is... maybe and in some cases.FDO and i have talked and we both agree that the quality needs to stay consistent and high. that said, when i am in a position that i need guest voices- i may ask for Junkie help from those with some decent equipment. :-)
