This was played in Scott's feed last year, but to keep the threads going, here's a link to the audio short story I did about meeting Scott at Dragon*Con 2006 (as I recall it. I was drunk though, so I can't be sure... or sued).

J.C. Hutchins played the part of Mr. Sigler.

The only Con I have ever been to was Origin's in Columbus, OH. I helped a friend out with Hack Master, Battle-Lords of the 23rd Century, and Blood Dawn.
I have learned NEVER get anyone dressed as a Klingon or a Predator drunk.
But glad I took the time to listen....this was cool!
Also..at least I know now that if I attend a con, I need to keep an eye out for those damn stinkin' stormtroopers!
I'm definitely keeping that one in mind next year, despite the possibility of being trapped alone in one with Death incarnate.

I absolutely loved that piece. I'm glad I didn't hear anything like it before I made the trek up to the party at Dragon*Con 2007... I might have thought twice about putting myself in the same room as Death. Probably not, ough, thconsidering I was drunk enough to think walking 15 flights of stairs was a good idea.

Great story! Scott's death voice reminded me of the Donnie Darko bunny. I just downloaded the whole of Murder at Avedon Hill, so I will get back to you with praises of your tale once it has been digested!

This was actually how I heard of your other podcast. I was laughing so hard through the whole thing... and it was kinda freaky how much Hutchins sounded like Sigler.. evil doppelganger maybe? lol
