Junkies, I'm still ass-deep in the quagmire of family issues, but fortunately I have a fix from you. This story is called EUSOCIAL NETWORKING, and it comes straight from the feed of J.C. Hutchinssss! Yes, I decided to corrupt his feed with Siglerism goodness (kind of like peeing your name into your neighbor's snowbank).

This story originally ran on Mur Lafferty's "Stories of the Third Wave" fiction podcast. I wanted to get it in our feed for the Junkies who do not listen to Mur's awesome stuff. THE TORPEDO is a humerous take on some conventions of the superhero genre. I originally made this story to help promote Mur's book "Playing for Keeps," but liked the results so much I though you might like to hear it. In other words, I thought it was funny as fuck. Enjoy.

Junkies, I am back from the geek-fest that is DragonCon and ready to sober up. Let's just say it was a rough time. J.C. Hutchins is an evil, evil bastard who makes people drink. As usual, I accept zero responsibility for my actions. I blame Hutchins, Harwood, and Soccergirl. There should be some video coming up very soon. PASSENGER is a strange little story that takes place in THE ROOKIE universe, several hundred years before Quentin Barnes & company did their thang for the Krakens. Well, not so little, it's at least two episodes, and might be three by the time I get through all the gross stuff at the end. Yeah, that's right, the violence is back. I just can't help myself. A solid 18 minutes of story, plus some great Junkie calls, plus a few rants, plus some promos, it turns out to be a big fatty of an episode for you. KISSYMAN & SCREAMIN' JESSE DUPREE

KISSYMAN is a story I was inspired to write after reading "Devil in a Blue Dress" by Walter Mosley. This is not the hard-science horror stuff that is my bread and butter, but rather a hard-boiled detective style take on an illegal immigrant from another era in America's history. No science (unless you count psychology), but it does, indeed, get us back on the "lots and lots of violence" tip.
